A New Model for Charter Schools

A New Model for Charter Schools

This program is free for families and financially positive for The Classical Academies.

Students spend four days each week learning online—joining live classes for about three hours a day and completing assignments and projects with strong teacher support. On the fifth day, they come together in person to meet with teachers, connect with classmates, and access The Classical Academies’ facilities, including sports, clubs, and extracurricular activities.

The curriculum is project-based: rather than worksheets and tests, students engage in meaningful projects that connect learning to the real world. At the same time, they are part of a close-knit community of peers and teachers who know them well.

The result is a hybrid model that blends the flexibility of online learning with the relationships and opportunities of an in-person school—delivering a high-quality education that benefits students, families, and the school itself.
